Description
As a key passive device in fiber optic signal links, the fiber optic collimator functions to convert the diverging beam from the fiber output into collimated parallel light through an internal aspherical lens or achromatic lens. The one-dimensional adjustable fiber collimator uses FC/APC connector, is compatible with single-mode fiber patch cords, and offers three AR coating options: 350–700 nm, 600–1050 nm, and 1050–1700 nm.
In terms of focusing mechanism design, this product adopts a pure axial linear translation drive structure. During the adjustment process, the lens group only makes precise linear movements along the optical axis, and the lens itself does not generate any rotation or circumferential twisting. This mechanical configuration fundamentally avoids the problems of beam sway, optical axis shift, and polarization state changes introduced by traditional rotary focusing methods; Meanwhile, the purely mechanical fixing method eliminates the need for adhesive or elastic elements, significantly improving the component's durability and environmental adaptability—even under fluctuating conditions such as temperature and humidity, the mechanism can still maintain a stable geometric relationship, thereby ensuring the long-term reliability and repeatability of collimated light output/coupling.
